Stories
This week at Rotary - guest speaker Eileen Dautrich
They call her "The Legend."  Come join us this Wednesday as we are joined by Eileen Dautrich, the President of the Tricounty Chamber of Pottstown.  The Chamber's mission is to help build a thriving local economy through fostering economic development, business relationships, and providing leadership development.  The Chamber has been instrumental in supporting businesses in our area for decades and our club is one of their civic organization members.
In March 2019, Eileen celebrated her 20-year anniversary with the Chamber.  As President of the Chamber, Eileen is responsible for building relationships with the members and the community as well expanding the organization’s programs, member benefits and continuing to manage the daily activities of the organization.

Eileen's ongoing professional development has included graduating from the U.S. Chamber’s four-year program, the Institute for Organization Management, in 2005 and graduating from the Leadership Tri-County program in 2000. She attends various seminars and participates in webinars every year that help strengthen her business knowledge and allow her to greater assist TCACC and its members.
Her favorite part of working at the Chamber is that she is passionate about what the Chamber stands for in the Tri-county community and the satisfaction of being able to help the local, small businesses, and the community at large through her daily activities.

Please note - we are planning resume a hybrid meeting format.  For hybrid meetings we are aiming for a minimum of 20 in-person attendees in order to support the meeting logistics.  For those comfortable to attend in person, masking and social distancing rules will be followed.  Registration is required for in-person attendance so that we can plan meals.  Register Here

July 4th Activities

The Pottstown Rotary Club will again organize the community parade to be held on Sunday the 4th of July.  It will begin at 11 am on High Street at Adams and last about one hour.

Steve Smith needs help in decorating our float on Sunday morning - which will be about 8:30 am.
Deb Penrod is taking registrations for participants to help with the parade.  She needs eight people to volunteer to organize the participants on Sunday morning.
These people can also walk with the float in the parade.
We need four people to walk among the parade watchers soliciting donations.  Sprinkling cans will be provided for donations.

We will also need help at the end of the parade to set up the Duck at High and Hanover Sts. and our booth for selling Duck Tickets during the Pottstown GoFourth event on High St.
We need people to sell tickets from 1 to 3.  The Duck Race will be held at 3 pm.  We will draw certificates to determine the winners.
