19 Feb. 2025 Pottstown Play Streets Feb. 19, 2025 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Chris Wierzbowski Associate Program Officer - Community Engagement & Government Relations Pottstown Play Streets is a seasonal award-winning summer recreation and community development program delivered over a series of seven two hour events on Thursdays from June to August. It takes place on streets near parks or green spaces throughout the Borough of Pottstown. The partners behind the program, the Play Streets Coalition, temporarily close a neighborhood block to traffic, set-up tables for partner outreach and activities, and disburse free play equipment to create safe, fun, and healthy public spaces for children, families and neighbors to connect, play, and learn right outside their doors. It gives kids of all ages more space to be active.
26 Feb. 2025 Splitting Axe Throwing Feb. 26, 2025 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Join us at Splitting Edge Axe Throwing! Who knew that axe-throwing was now a national championship sport? You will learn about this local successful business. and to test your skill, and even sign up for a round! Please RSVP by clicking and signing up. The cost will be $25 per person to throw and you must sign a waiver in order to throw. Link is on their website or can be signed that night. Happy Hour is at 5:30 with our traveling Rotary bar, pizza and hoagies will be served. From 6:00 to 8:00 get to enjoy the sport of Axe-throwing.
05 Mar. 2025 Sing Along Mar. 05, 2025 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Rotary has never sounded better! Come to our sing along led by Rotarian Dave Morrison and his friend on piano Scott Piergrossi. This will be a fun filled time of singing from the Rotary Hymn Book, plus other assorted tunes. Can't carry a tune? No problem! Just carry a drink back from the bar and problem solved. If attendance is more than 40, we will have a great door prize. Trust us, you don't want to miss this!!
