Meet the Pottstown NAACP
There is an African Proverb - "If you want to go fast, go alone.  If you want to go farther, go together."
Tonight, we will be joined by key members of the NAACP's (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) local Pottstown chapter.
Just like Pottstown Rotary Club, the NAACP is a service organization dedicated to tackling local issues.
It has a diverse multi-racial membership, and we will learn about their different committees and initiatives in town and learn how our club might be able to join forces to broaden our reach and go farther together.

This is an important and timely program as Rotary International is challenging our clubs to expand and think about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion topics and look at ways our club can be more integrated with our own community.
We hope you will join this important conversation and learn about the efforts of this key organization in our community.
Please note - we are planning a hybrid meeting format.  For hybrid meetings we are aiming for a minimum of 20 in-person attendees in order to support the meeting logistics.  For those comfortable to attend in person, masking and social distancing rules will be followed.  Registration is required for in-person attendance so that we can plan meals.

Rt 724 Clean Up
It was a cold but productive morning as a handful of Pottstown Rotarians cleaned up a portion of Route 724 as part of the Adopt-A-Highway Program.
They even found some treasures along the way.
Thank you to all who showed up to get the job done!

New member application - Garry Rarer
An application for membership has been received from Garry Rarer, being sponsored by Dan Price.

Garry lives in Stowe, PA and his application states that he is an operations manager for Heritage Coach company.  They sell, maintain, and do all kinds of other work with funeral vehicles.  He is an organizer for a local running club and looking to get involved in community activities that we support.

His application was reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors.  If you see Garry at one of our meetings, make sure to introduce yourself and make him feel welcome.

Tri-District Conference 2021
Registration is now open!!
I am excited to be your guide as we set out exploring new opportunities together at the 2021 Tri-District Conference on April 30, May 1 & 2, 2021.
Our path will take us into a world of leadership, learning, fellowship and fun! All from the comfort of your own home!

The full schedule may be found here:
Join together with me in our exploration. Registration is $25 Conference Fee and $25 Foundation Gala Donation. Please invite all your club members to register now.
