This week at Rotary - guest speaker Rachel Newby

Come join us this week as Rachel Newby, proprieter of NewBee Ranch, comes to tell us about her small farmette in Pottstown.

She has gardens, an apiary and a henhouse to bring real food and household items that she produces to local people.
Everything they produce is seasonal and she spends her time touring the Farmer's Markets in the area.

She'll tell us about her bees and the products she makes.

Check her out on Facebook (neww-Bee Ranch) or at her website - http://www.newbeeranch.com/

Our meeting this week will once again be a hybrid Zoom meeting.
Those who wish to enjoy a dinner at Brookside Country Club should arrive by 6:00 pm - although a smaller group and Covid-aware, we will meet in the ballroom.

For those who wish to see our guest speaker but stay at home, join us through a Zoom meeting with the information below:

Rotary Foundation Annual Fund - SHARE

Help support the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund-SHARE Fund by sponsoring me as I complete the last 110 miles of my Appalachian Trail adventure so that we can fund even more of your club's projects!

As many of you know, I've been section hiking the nearly 2200 mile Appalachian Trail for the past 15 years and have completed over 2050 miles. Last spring, the pandemic forced me to delay completing the trail for a year, but this upcoming Spring, I plan to hike the last 110 miles in North Carolina and Georgia.

The Rotary Foundation has enabled our district’s 46 clubs to work on many local and global projects through district and global grants. Thanks to your generosity, each year, our district receives over $100,000 in District Designated Funds for these grants. During the past few years, nearly every club in our district has received one or more grants to help their local communities and also to do amazing global projects.

You can sponsor me for any amount.  As an added incentive, our District Foundation team has created the TRIPLE 110 challenge!
  1. I complete the last 110 miles of the Appalachian trail.  (30 miles to go!)
  2. You support the Annual Fund by contributing $110 or more to the Annual Fund SHARE through the link below.
  3. The district matches your donation with 110 additional Paul Harris points (in addition to your donation) to get you closer to your next Paul Harris Fellow recognition level.
Please consider sponsoring me with a donation to the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund through the following link: https://www.rotarydistrict7430.org/donate.

Thank you!
PDG Herb Klotz
