Committee Planning Meeting Do you have a committee that needs time to meet? This is your opportunity to take more time back to your busy life and have your committee meeting during regular club meeting hours. Let the rest of your committee know you will be holding your committee meeting this night. SPECIAL We have brought back old "fireside chats" that some members may remember, for benefit of our newbies. A "fireside chat" is simply a Rotary Orientation, to learn the in and out of how the Rotary operates. For recent members or anyone who would like a refresher. New members: expect to be contacted directly to encourage you to come! We did this for the last meeting and it was a great success with a lot of attendance. New Pilot Program for Committee Meetings: To reduce the demand on your time, and increase the number of members able to participation on committees, we are streamlining how we schedule committee meetings. One program every two months will be dedicated to working "Standing" committee meetings during dinner from 6:30 - 7:15 pm. Committee members (and interested members) should try to sit together. Our standing Committees at this time include: -Membership -Programs -Youth Service -Community Service -Rotary Foundation Ad hoc committees (Golf, Bowling, Big Ticket, Parade, Duck Race, etc) will meet at 7:15. as needed for our annual events/fundraisers. |
