Adventures on the Appalachian Trail with Herb Klotz!

Most of you already know Herb, the former District Governor of District 7430 from 2019-2020,  now active in additional executive roles for the District.
And he's an explorer! He has hiked the Appalachian Trail from one end to the other and even turned his adventure into a fundraiser for those who followed his trail (virtually).
The Appalachian National Scenic Trail, generally known as the Appalachian Trail is a marked hiking trail in the Eastern United States extending between Springer Mountain in Georgia and Mount Katahdin in Maine. The trail is about 2,200 miles long, though the exact length changes over time as parts are rerouted or modified. The Appalachian Trail Conservancy describes the Appalachian Trail as the longest hiking-only trail in the world. More than 2 million people are said to take a hike on part of the trail at least once each year.

No hiking boots required for the evening, although I'll be wearing mine.

We're back at Brookside Country Club for our meetings although they will be hybrid.
For hybrid meetings we are aiming for a minimum of 20 in-person attendees in order to support the meeting logistics.
For those comfortable to attend in person, masking and social distancing rules will be followed although relaxed if you are vaccinated.
Registration is required for in-person attendance so that we can plan meals. Register here if you have not done so. or text a note to Deb Penrod at 215-840-9943 .
