This week’s program has something to learn about health, nutrition, and local business development, all at the same time.
The Pottstown FARM was started in 2016 when a group of community-minded Pottstown area residents got together to start an outdoor market throughout the spring/summer season. Today, the Pottstown FARM has changed locations, added a number of vendors and has an average of over 600 visitors each week of the market.
Sheila Dugan will describe two programs which have seen tremendous growth, the SNAP Incentives and The Two Bite Club. Both help FARM bring healthy, locally produced foods to our community's children and families in need.
Please note - we are planning to continue with a hybrid meeting format. For hybrid meetings we are aiming for a minimum of 20 in-person attendees in order to support the meeting logistics. For those comfortable to attend in person, masking and social distancing rules will be followed although relaxed if you are vaccinated.
